Digital Coalescence was started by me (Paul Sinclair) several years ago to create software for OS X. When the iPhone SDK was released, I decided to write games for iPhone OS instead.
I had the idea for Cubefused in my head for many years, but never decided to actually make the game until the iPhone came along. The touch interface really makes the game work whereas using a mouse ends up becoming a little monotonous. I prefer playing shooters or MMORPG style games over puzzle games but wanted to make a puzzle game that held my interest and Cubefused is a result of that.
